Thrilling Book for Boys

SKU: 36523641234523

Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. A lovely children's story book believed to be published somewhere between 1930 and early 1940's. This copy has a red cloth spine and hardboard back and front covers. The corners of the covers have been bumped and there are some grubby marks on the back cover. The binding is firm, but some cracking at the hinge on the first page after the front cover. Pages of the book are all intact and clean but pages have slightly yellowed due to the age of the book. On the front title page, there are some darker marks. There is no date on the book but it is believed this is a first edition and dates from the 1930's. Contents; Three Hours Ashore by William R. Bawden, Man's Search for Power by R. Barnard Way, Bullion Gold by John Bostock, Lorring's Luck! by F. Wilmot Irwin, The World's Greatest Races by F. Wilmot Irwin, Nine Lives Sam by W.H. Morris, SOS! by W. H. Morris, The Breakdown Gang by W.H. Morris, An Aid to the Deaf by Lt.-Col. A. Lloyd Owen, The Infra Ray by Lionel Surrey, The Unholy Alliance by F. W. Gumley, Pity the Pilot! by F.W. Gumley. This is a good copy, with some signs of wear due to age and priced accordingly.
